A Mini Vegas Vacation

I am getting really good at packing a suitcase quickly and looking like a seasoned traveler as I make my way through the airport these days. Some of my trips have been planned for months, others for weeks, and this one....for a few days. I had the opportunity to come down to Vegas this weekend to help celebrate Chandler's birthday and be a part of his special Baptism day.

Super Star Kids

The kids had been looking forward to Halloween for weeks. Avery wore her costume all day long, counting down the hours until she could go Trick-or-Treating. It was also the first official live appearance of 'Etwon- the King of Cool.' We had all seen pictures and heard stories about the infamous Etwon, but what a surprise to finally meet him. It was sad when he had to go at the end of the night. Many happy returns Etwon!


I guess the kids weren't the only ones that were enjoying the night!


This past week Evan was the Spotlight Student in his class. Mark and I went on Friday afternoon to talk about Evan and show a picture slideshow that we had made of him. It was fun to share some funny pictures and tell stories that the kids didn't know. I think we were very successful in embarrassing him!
